Un "Lago Cromatico" sustainable and… green!

La ISO 20121 is an international standard that defines the standard requirements necessary for the certification of event management systems according to the criteria of economic sustainability, social and environmental.  This is an important certification, which attests a duly attentive approach not only to economic and logistical aspects, but also to the social and environmental context in which the event takes place, with a view to the general sustainability policy. The path to certification involves a careful analysis and assessment of possible impacts CheapSocial edEnvironmental of the review. Inoltre, the Festival, since its inception, also operates with a view to a positive impact of nature Cultural on the territory and the communities involved.

A great wealth and a great responsibility, to share!

From a great power comes with great responsibility… but it does not apply only to super-aircraft! There Lake Maggiore region is a tourist destination of great wealth.

In a territory that is still small, innumerable cultural and environmental treasures are hidden: from the mountain oases of our suggestive valleys, made usable by kilometers of paths, to lively urban centers with high-level cultural activities for young and old…from the quiet shores of the lake to the lively banks of the rivers. Not to mention the rich gastronomic and folkloristic offer, and the most diverse possibilities to practice sports and outdoor activities! in conclusion, we really don't miss anything ... if not a little more awareness and respect..

Here then is that Il Lago Cromatico wants to set a good example, getting involved in first person to learn the rules of sustainability, so that they can be passed on to everyone – primarily to its audience. If you want to grow and improve, you cannot walk alone: we must do it all together!

The Festival "Il Lago Cromatico" therefore intends to involve all stakeholder (public and / or private bodies and institutions, partner, providers, but also artists, public and local communities) in a virtuous and mutually profitable path.

The drafting of the document bysustainable development policy and the sharing of the latter with all the aforementioned parties demonstrates the commitment ofMusica Libera Association, Festival organizer, in the application of sustainable development principles in project management activities.

The training course aimed at obtaining certification ISO 20121  is supported and funded byChamber of Commerce of Biella and Vercelli – Novara – Verbano Cusio Ossola, as part of the project Amalake – Amazing Major: Active Holiday on the Lake Maggiore, Italy-Switzerland Interregional Cross-border Cooperation program (of which it is the Italian leader),  dedicated to the promotion of green and active tourism in the areas bordering Lake Maggiore, for the enhancement and positioning of the destination "Lake Maggiore and its valleys" and finally the development of a network of services to support the birth of new business initiatives.

Particularly, for the VIII edition of the Festival, the sustainable development objectives of the event were shared with the Board of Directors and all stakeholders, identified within the 17 Sustainable Development GoalsSustainable Development Goals, SDGsdefined inAgenda 2030 signed in September 2015 by the United Nations.
