Il fascino per il corno di bassetto. Un timbro caldo e avvolgente, una musica scritta semplicemente per riempire il piacevole susseguirsi dei giorni nelle corti del ‘700; ecco gli ingredienti per un Concerto che ci riporta ai tempi di Mozart. Il programma proposto è il frutto di una particolare e approfondita ricerca operata dall’ensemble sia in relazione alle modalità interpretative che agli aspetti tecnico strumentali. Esso comprende una considerevole parte dei lavori dedicati da W.A.Mozart al corno di bassetto nella musica da camera. Le circostanze in cui Mozart si trovò a realizzare questo gruppo di composizioni ci riportano a consuetudini che, viste attraverso lo sguardo del nostro tempo, così carico di interrogativi sul significato dell’arte e della musica, appaiono lontanissime. E’ difficile dire se i brani in programma siano stati scritti per uno solo o più di questi incontri, dato che, fra tutti, solo il primo dei notturni è datato da Mozart stesso (luglio 1788) in una sua catalogazione; è comunque certo che furono scritti per essere suonatiin quella casa.
