La serata inaugurale si svolgerà nel parco di Villa Frua dove, sotto il cielo, verrà illustrato il significato delle stelle nella storia del patchwork, accompanied by thematic readings
The theme of stars is recurrent in Quilt art, especially the star of Bethlehem , one star a 8 tips with the characteristic of diamond cut. But it's not a simple star since it's one “star in the star”. What characterizes this star is that in the first star the diamond is unique, in the second it is further divided into several rows of diamonds.
The exhibition will be open until 1 July.
The event is organized with TessiLesa Quilt Shop and the Wells Library of Laveno Mombello.
